FAQs
HOW LONG WILL MY SPRAY TAN LAST?
A spray tan will last anywhere from 5-10 days, on average. The amount of physical activity, after care, and proper preparation for the tan are all factors of how many days one can expect their tan to last. Take a look at our Tan Care maintenance for more in depth after care instructions.
STANDARD SOLUTION VS. RAPID SOLUTION?
The main difference is when you take your first initial shower. Both solutions offer the same color results and longevity. With a Standard solution, you will rinse in 8-12 hours. With a Rapid solution, you will rinse in 2-5 hours depending on the darkness level you would like to achieve. Please note: With a Rapid tan, your color will not be very visible after your first rinse and will continue to develop and darken over the next 24 hours.
CLEAR SOLUTION VS. STANDARD SOLUTION?
Clear solutions work the same as a standard solution it just goes on exactly as described, clear! There will be no immediate color on the skin after application , you will leave the same color as you arrived. There will be zero risk of transfer to any clothing both during and after development of the tan due to the lack of bronzer. Clear is a great option for ; Brides, clients with age / sun spots, anyone who still has some running around to do, those clients who have skin conditions with patches of rough skin.

HOW LONG DOES THE SERVICE TAKE
The entire process takes about 20 minutes to 40 minutes depending on which service you’ll be receiving. Please be mindful we block off exactly 20 minutes/40 minutes for each appointment so if you are running behind or know you will be late , please give us a call to make sure we are still able to accommodate you.
WHEN SHOULD I GET SPRAYED BEFORE MY EVENT?
We recommend anywhere from 2-3 days before your event. Getting sprayed the day of your event is not ideal as it takes 24 hours for a tan to full develop with an 8-12 hours processing time. DHA & The FDA
The active ingredient in self tanning products is dihydroxyacetone (DHA). DHA has been used in cosmetic preparations for almost 30 years and was listed with the FDA in 1973. It is declared safe and suitable for use in cosmetics and used to color the skin. DHA is derived from glycerin (vegetable origin) which is a commonly used cosmetic and food ingredient. DHA is not absorbed into the body and poses no possibility of toxicity.
